Individual Volunteering
Join us in supporting local families!
We offer flexible volunteer roles that work around your schedule. You’ll be able to make a real difference… and even some friends along the way. A Working with Children Check is required (free through Service Victoria). -
School & Clubs Volunteering
Bring your school or club to serve the community together - grocery sorting, packing, and distributing food directly to our guests. Over 20 different schools and clubs already pitch in and make a real difference at Transit.
Adult supervisors with a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) are required. -
Corporate Volunteering
A team building day with a difference! Bring your team for a hands-on, high-impact day…grocery sorting, packing, cooking and distributing food directly to our guests. Enquire to discuss how your business or team can support the community at Transit.

Pay your Fines Volunteering
Transit is an approved WDP Sponsor. Volunteer shifts can count toward eligible Fines Victoria debt. You’ll need a valid Working with Children Check, be physically able to move, lift and sort food and meet the WDP criteria. Start your application today!
